The Unsung Musicians of the Motown Empire Documentary

This documentary tells the story of the “unsung musicians of Motown,” who were instrumental in creating “a sound” that not only rocked the country, but impacted social change in the world, yet these horn players were un-celebrated and un-recognized. They played on more hit records than Elvis and The Beatles combined, and in my opinion, parallel the Tuskegee Airmen.

As the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. became a “drum major” for humanity, it is my desire and privilege to become a “foot soldier” for these musicians—to make sure that even though their voices are silent, their music lives on. It is a challenge that I accept gracefully and willingly, because its source comes from a power greater than myself. The “Unsung Musicians of the Motown Empire” documentary is a story that every child, man and woman should not only see . . . but live!
